| SUPERNOVA UPS 160 - 300 kVA | ||
The supernova series is the latest technological novelty engineered by powertronix, covered by two patents (nr. 002509 and nr. 002510). The series has six power ratings: 160, 200, 250, 300, 400 and 500 kva. These ups are studied to protect large electrical installations, intelligent buildings, industrial plants, automated production lines. This three phase uninterruptible power supply series has true on-line double conversion topology, high frequency pwm technology, digital control, 0.99 power factor, low noise level, high efficiency and upgraded man-machine interface. Up to 8 systems can be installed in parallel connection with distributed by-pass. All these are characteristics that allow us to confirm that the supernova ups systems are an expert solution for any type of power supply requirement. The supernova series has a special and innovative cooling system (patent nr. 002589) where the cooling fluid is circulating in a sealed circuit chilled by redundant cooling fans. This innovative feature is studied to eliminate the heat stress from the power components for a better ups performance and an efficiency improvement. Thanks to this technology the components are cooled better than in any other system available on the market. Moreover the heat exchanger of the cooling system can be installed in a different room from the one where the ups is located, or even outside the building, thus avoiding the need to have an air-conditioning device where the ups is installed. The benefits of the powertronix solution are the saving of energy and a/c cost. A totally new 12 pulse configuration limits the input total harmonic distortion to less than 5%. |
